How the math works
Select fixed-price, hourly, or contest work. Fixed-price and contest awards use the greater of 10% or $5; hourly payments use 10%. The $5 amount is a minimum, not a maximum. This estimate excludes Preferred Freelancer recruiter projects, any eligible referral promotion, employer fees, taxes, account-balance requirements, and withdrawals.
